The Company provides fire and security alarm installation and service to commercial business and residential clients in the tri-county area. Our office is located in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. We are looking for a reliable and responsible candidate to join our team.
This position will include a variety of warehouse duties. Those duties may change over time depending on your abilities.
Duties:
· Organizing stock and products in warehouse and service vehicles
· Moving inventory around the warehouse
· General maintenance, removing trash and cleaning up the warehouse.
· Pulling orders for installers and service techs, packaging and shipping.
· Placing orders from distributors.
· Testing products this include using hand tools, some basic wiring and electrical knowledge is required
· Using inventory control software.
· Some driving to deliver and receive parts to field technicians and distributors.
· Some field work at customers premises to help assist service and installing techs
· Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
· Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required
· Must be able to lift about 50 lbs. heavier items will be lifted with assistance.
· Must have basic computer skills.
· Must be able to read and understand product manuals.
· Must be able to work independently and stay on task.
· You must be willing to submit to a criminal background check.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 – $14.00 per hour
