10 Hour shifts-Starts at 5:00 PM Monday-Thursday.
Receiving, stocking, preparation and shipping of merchandise to customers in local and outlying areas.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Drive/Operate forklift and electronic pallet jack.
Pick merchandise from slots.
Load merchandise into trucks.
Drop merchandise from ‘reserve’ to ‘pick’ slots.
Prepare ‘Via’ merchandise for shipment on freight lines.
Repack loose merchandise.
Performs house keeping duties as assigned.
External Qualifications
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Ability to lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly each shift.
Bending, stooping, climbing, standing and twisting for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift 70-100 lbs. occasionally.
Ability to successfully complete forklift training/certification requirements.
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
