As part of a leading global aerospace distributor, the warehouse associate is responsible for fulfilling orders, packaging and verifying parts, and ensuring that the daily functions and procedures run smoothly and efficiently. Supports team in accomplishing goals and meeting deadlines. Shipping and receiving, maintaining inventory, and warehouse upkeep are key to the responsibilities of this role.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Pulling and packaging orders in a timely manner
- Receiving, packing and placing parts in proper location after identifying and verifying part numbers
- Prepare and verify shipping documents
- Responsible for Bill of Lading and export (customs) documentation
- Contacting freight carriers to coordinate shipments
- Matches paperwork to package and prepares orders for shipment
- Keep detailed shipping log to account for all materials leaving the warehouse
- Perform physical verification of inventory
- Handle loading and unloading operations
- Drive and support reaching department/company key results
- Keep warehouse clean and organized at all times
- Performs other duties as requested, directed or assigned
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
- Must be detail oriented, efficient and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Able to work in a cross functional team environment
Preferred Requirements
- Associate’s degree or technical certification
- 2-4 years of related work experience
- Intermediate computer knowledge
- Knowledge of Component Control Quantum
