Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks related to materials handling, warehouse management, and shipping/receiving. The ideal candidate will have experience with forklift operation and possess mechanical knowledge.
Responsibilities:
– Build and assemble orders accurately and efficiently
– Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively
– Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments
– Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas
– Perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
– Package products for shipment according to company standards
– Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed
– Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
– Proficient in materials handling techniques
– Strong mechanical knowledge for equipment operation and maintenance
– Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for long periods of time
– Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
