Warehouse Associate/Forklift Driver Full Time

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Receives, stores, and distributes raw material, tools, equipment, and finished products.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

• Receives raw materials into Warehouse.
• Responsible for sampling raw materials and packaging components upon receipt into InnovaGel, according to SOP specifications.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence, such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Marks materials with identifying information.
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas by hand, hand truck, electric hand truck or forklift.
• Reviews work order requests and fills requests for materials and distributes items to production department
• Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Uses computer to enter data to update inventory records.
• Completes documentation to prepare finished goods for shipping.
• May load truck with finished goods.
• Responsible for transferring empty 55-gallon drums from Production to container storage area.
• Responsible for cutting 55-gallon empty drums used for recycled gelatin netting.
• Weighing and transferring recycled gelatin netting to assigned location.
• Keeps the Warehouse clean, tidy and well organized.
• Responsible for recording all lot numbers used, for all products without exception.
• Responsible for checking the code numbers of each individual raw material code number, before dispensing, the weight, lot number, and signature must be recorded, in the space provided.
• Responsible for recording all spills and material loses on the batch documentation.
• Must have understanding and knowledge needed about safety SOP’s and the requirements for the position to ensure a safer working environment. All precautions and processes must be adhered to in order to maintain a high level of safety compliance.
• Other duties as assigned

WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

• Three or more years in related field.
• Ability to operate various Warehouse equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, etc.,
• Good understanding of cGMP.
• Able to effectively communicate in English written and oral.
• Knowledge of Windows, Word and Excel.
• Good analytical and observation skills.
• Good knowledge of basic mathematical skills, including measurement.
• Able to maintain a flexible work schedule.
• Able to multi-task.
• Able to follow routine verbal and/or written instructions in English.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time
