Tampa based manufacturing company is seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for various duties including shipping and receiving, order picking, inventory control, and general warehouse maintenance. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and opportunities for growth.
$16 – $18 an hour
Monday thru Friday (overtime available)
Duties:
-Load and Unload truck with Forklifts, willingness to get dirty
-Willing to learn new skills that involve running, and cutting metal wire rope onto wooden reels via machine operation.
– Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading trucks
– Operate a crane to move heavy materials as needed
– Fabricate and build products according to specifications
– Use order pickers to retrieve items from warehouse shelves
– Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock checks
– Assist with general warehouse maintenance, such as organizing shelves and cleaning work areas
Qualifications:
– Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred
– Machine Operation (will train qualified candidates)
– Mechanical knowledge and ability to operate warehouse equipment safely
– Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
– Proficiency in inventory control systems and basic computer skills
– Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
– Be a team player with a good attitude

Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time, bend, stoop, reach overhead, twist, kneel, squat and lift to 50 pounds. Must be able to read, write and speak ENGLISH, to include written and verbal instructions.
