The Warehouse Clerk (WC) reports to the Food Service Supervisor and will be responsible for keeping the food service warehouses clean and organized at all times. Duties include loading and unloading donations; storing donations appropriately based on perishable/non-perishable status; conducting regular inventory of donations and providing Gift in Kind (GIK) receipts to donors as well as GIK reports; collaborating with the Community Development and Industrial Division departments to track and store donations; sorting and arranging items on racks, shelves or bins by size, type, style or color; providing supervisor with appropriate reports as needed. TThe Warehouse Clerk must be able to sign the Mission’s Statement of Faith.
Minimum Requirements: Must have a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of warehouse experience, and knowledge of food storage procedures. Must be able to lift, bend, squat, and reach overhead without limitations. Must be able to pass a Level II background screen and drug test.
Compensation: $11.00 – $17.00 per hour based on experience. Position is non-exempt.
