The Warehouse Inventory Control Mover is responsible for activities within both the Receiving and Shipping Warehouse areas of the facilities ensuring materials unloaded, delivered, and shipped on time, in full. Additionally, this role plays a key part in our inventory control on site ensuring budgetary responsibilities are met.
GSK Oak Hill produces over 5 million tubes of toothpaste a week and the Packaging Technician role plays a key part in getting finished products ready for consumers and customers. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Ensures quality and safety of all warehouse activities
- Ability to operate forklift truck, pallet jack, and other equipment required for the safe loading, offloading, and transfer of manufacturing components, raw materials, and finished goods
- Perform cycle counts within warehouse and operations to ensure accuracy of inventory and budget accountability
- Coordinate availability of components/resources for shift within operations
- Ability to perform basic operating computer system transactions associated with warehouse transactions and activities
- Conduct daily safety checks of associated equipment according to set procedures
- Perform basic machine preventative maintenance checks and general housekeeping tasks such as removal of waste/cardboard, product organization/consolidation, and other associated tasks to maintain an organized, clean and safe work area
- Participate in initiatives and programs to identify opportunities for continuous improvement within but not limited to safety, quality, processes and standard work, performance management and waste reduction
- Understand and comply with all pertinent operating procedures, work instructions, forms and documentation, and good manufacturing practice guidelines

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work 8, 10 & 12 hour shifts on either days or nights, and weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Manufacturing, Warehouse or Production environment experience
- Experience with operating forklifts/trucks
