A large e-Commerce supplier located in Wantagh, NY. We are growing rapidly and are looking for an energetic individual to join our team as a Warehouse Lead. We are looking for an individual who is ambitious, hardworking, and professional who can pay careful attention to details, follow instructions precisely and double-check work before completing their tasks.
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for assisting company management in efficiently carrying out warehouse operations that include but are not limited to order fulfillment, receiving, warehouse organization, inventory maintenance, and training of warehouse personnel.
As a warehouse lead, you are a vital part of the operations team, ensuring that inventory is managed, receiving is timely and accurate, orders are processed and shipped completely and on time, and our customers receive the best service. You enjoy multi-tasking and working to ensure that the warehouse is maintained in an orderly fashion and operating at its peak level of efficiency.
Responsibilities associated with this position include but not limited:
- Accurately pick, pack, and label orders for shipment, ensuring timely and precise order fulfillment.
- Review all outgoing material labels and documentation to ensure they are correct.
- Conduct light assembly of kits, following detailed instructions and quality standards.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and putting merchandise in the appropriate location.
- Ecommerce order picking.
- Experience with Amazon FBA a plus.
- Experience with RF scanners a plus.
- Maintain the warehouse in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse lead experience required.
- Ability to multi-task, adapt and respond to multiple incoming requests and shifting priorities, meet deadlines, performance goals and targets, and work in a fast-paced environment.

- High school diploma/GED preferred.
- The ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Must be able to operate computers and mobile tablet.
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for 8 to 10 hours a day.
- Ability to lift and carry cartons weighing up to 80 lbs.
- Ability to work overtime and Sundays as required.

Salary: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
