Our Courier is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of supplies, reports, equipment, and materials to the appropriate destination.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Some Courier or similar experience.
Stable and safe driving record.
Licenses/Certifications:
Current state driver’s license.
Responsible for the safe and timely transportation of supplies, reports, equipment and materials to the appropriate destination. May occasionally take mail, deposits, or other deliveries as required.
Responsible for operating company vehicle safely as well as maintaining a valid driver’s license and driving record within acceptable company guidelines.
Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
Ensure route is started with proper equipment tools and materials.
Conduct pre/post trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat, and orderly vehicle
Strictly observe operating policies, procedures and service schedule
Follow route as scheduled/sequenced while allowing for will-call stops and special pickups.
Keep route information, sequencing and documentation up to date.
Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.
Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations.
Must be alert at all times; pay close attention to details.
Must be able to work under stress on a regular or continuous basis.
Perform other duties as assigned.
