Major Food Group is hiring PM line cooks for ZZ’s Sushi Bar in the Design District!
We are looking for experienced Back of House professionals with a strong work ethic to help set and maintain the highest standards of cuisine and professionalism.
Responsibilities
Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
Experience working in different stations: Grill and hotline.
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions
Clean up station and take care of leftover food
Stock inventory appropriately
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
Compensation: $18.00 – $24.00 hourly based on experience.
