Position Summary:

Freddy’s Frozen Custard has two different areas for Team Members to work in, each providing an important service to our guest. The Hot Line Team Members work to ensure the proper preparation, assembly and delivery of food items. Our Cold Line Team Members are responsible for greeting guests, taking orders and the construction of custard items, while maintaining cleanliness of the dining room and performing to the Freddy’s level of hospitality.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Be punctual for every shift and an overall dependable employee
- Work well with other team members in order to enhance efficiency and level of service
- Follows directions, is attentive and subordinate
Hot Line
- Open the kitchen following all necessary safety and health standards
- Ensure proper handling of all products
- Follow proper washing, sanitation and safety procedures
- Retain the knowledge of all ingredients, product specifications, cooking processes and store procedures
- Understands the sense of urgency and time standards for each order
- Must be able to handle duties in high traffic volume
- Thoroughly break-down the hot-line following proper procedures
- Disassemble and clean equipment, dishes, utensils and kitchen stations
Cold Line
- Opening the cold line following all necessary safety and health standards
- Welcome guests with enthusiasm and correctively take their order
- Efficiently facilitate Drive-Thru business
- Build all custard items and deliver in a timely manner
- Check on guests, seek feedback, and keep the dining area clean
- Follow proper washing, sanitation and safety procedures
- Retain knowledge of all ingredients and storing procedures
- Understand the sense of urgency and time standards with each order
- Thoroughly break-down the cold-line following proper procedures
- Disassemble and clean equipment, dishes, utensils and kitchen stations
- Always treat the guest with the highest level of respect
- Always communicate with guests in an energetic, friendly and cheerful manner
- Always take the initiative to make sure the guest is happy
Physical Requirements: (including but not limited to)
- Ability to stand and walk 10 hours/day
- Ability to continuously reach, bend, lift, carry and stoop
- Ability to freely access all areas of the restaurant
- Ability to move or handle items weighing 0-75lbs
- Ability to work varied hours/days to oversee store operations
- Hazards include, but not limited to cuts, slipping, tripping, falls and burns
