Customer Service Specialist Full Time

Job description
Customer Service Specialists (CSS) are responsible for giving our customers the best service they can get within a given Sales Plan. The region is managed from our office in Miami, FL where the customer service specialist’s main responsibility will be to handle the complete order fulfillment process in the defined region. You will be part of a small team in Miami with colleagues world-wide. Knowledge of logistics, supply chain and international trade is highly desired. Experience with an international organization is critical to success in this role.

The position’s main tasks and areas of responsibility:

Coordinate order fulfillment process
Coordinate product delivery and inventory planning
Plan delivery of domestic transports and manage transport invoices
Continuously monitor risks in supply chain and pro-actively mitigate those risks
Administer trial and sample orders
Administer claims
Monitor accounts receivables
Provide excellent customer service and communication to customers in writing, on the phone and in person.
Work collaboratively and in cooperation with a global BillerudKorsnäs internal team (Sales Managers(s), Customer Service Center at HQ, and colleagues within operations, sales and logistics) to ensure that orders are processed, delivered and received by the customer and that invoicing and payments are made in alignment with established processes.
Contribute to keeping customers and BillerudKorsnäs internally informed of product and delivery related issues that may arise during the lifetime of an order (i.e. managing delays, claims, trial order follow-up, payment reminders, etc.)

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
1+ year experience in customer service, logistics, or supply chain management
Bilingual, English – Spanish preferred
Working knowledge of the logistic, packaging or paper industry is a strong merit
Personal qualities
Outstanding customer service skills, structure and patience
Proven resilience (i.e. ability to be told “no” multiple times and to recover quickly)
Demonstrated ability to take initiative to prevent problems from occurring
Ability to manage multiple competing deadlines with accuracy by established deadlines
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural, international environment
