GRAPHIC DESIGNER – Grove Bay Hospitality Group (Coconut Grove) Full Time

The Graphic Designer supports the sales, marketing, communications and digital initiatives of our multi concept hospitality group through the design and layout of various creative elements, including but not limited to sales collateral, brochures, traditional and digital ads, e-mail templates, social media graphics and website graphics. The Graphic Designer will also work closely with other members of the Marketing Team to help drive the creative vision for the company.

The position requires someone with an excellent work ethic and dedication to hospitality. Someone with excellent communication, creativity, a team player and understands the company’s mission and core values.

QUALIFICATIONS
•Design collateral to support all company communication channels (print, email and digital). This will include working on a project from concept to execution, including print & digital production (video editing a plus).
•Help advance all of our design elements and develop standard layouts.
•Ensure all design work consistently meets established brand guidelines.
•Work in coordination with Marketing Manager and Social Media Coordinator to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner.
•Help manage the department’s creative assets.
•Work with outside graphic and print vendors when necessary.
•Maintain a professional level of communication with all internal and external stakeholders.
•Prepares illustrations or rough sketches of material and procures necessary approvals through reviews with Marketing Manager and business owners prior to releasing creative to external partners and/or production vendors.
•Develop landing pages, website promotions and other web based (HTML) projects; edit and publish pages.
•Assist in photo selects for marketing campaigns and retouch as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
•College degree from an accredited university in Graphic Design, Web Design and/or Advertising or related field of study; or any equivalent combination of relevant background and work experience.
•2-3 years design experience in a corporate, agency creative department or hospitality company required.
•Strong portfolio that includes consumer print & collateral, digital design, branding, multi-media campaigns and video.
•B2C work a plus.
•Strong attention to detail.
•Ability to work under time constraints and meet assigned deadlines.
•Proficient in the creation of both online and print design.
•Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite products, particularly Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
•Copy writing experience a plus.
