Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- General Knowledge of menu items, specials, and beverages.
- Answering phones with polite and proper phone manners.
- Welcoming guests with a warm smile.
- Opening doors for guests when arriving or departing.
- Understand and manage “Open Table” app used to view seating charts, reservations, guest requests/notes, and to assign tables to servers.
- Preparing the host stand and the tables.
- Properly closing down the host stand and related areas.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Pays close attention to detail.
- Maintains professional but friendly demeanor.
- Works well with a team.
- Communicates clearly and effectively.
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience with open table or Aloha software is a plus!
