Shipping and Receiving Associates
Sam Ash Music is looking for candidates who want to work in a challenging and fun environment. Limited experience in warehousing/packaging/picking/receiving is ok. We offer training on everything that we do. There are advancement opportunities available to those who excel in the position. The job is fast-paced and you will be moving the entire time. Loading and unloading a truck
Pallet jack/hand truck/shrink wrap skill required
Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
Routes items to departments.
Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
A knowledge of musical instruments and gear would be helpful
General knowledge of tools
Following instructions, organization, and heavy lifting 50 lbs. and over
